This Pele Award-winning story began with one person collecting laundry detergent containers to keep them out of Hawaiʻi’s landfills. What started as a simple act of care grew through social media outreach, a product designed to reduce plastic consumption, and a long journey of sustainability, community, and purpose that deserved to be told.
